Getting started
What do I need?
An Android phone, a Windows computer or a Mac, and an internet connection. The iPhone app is coming soon.
Where do I get the app?
On Google Play. Search for "Skolra" or use the button on the download page. The app is called SKOLRA JAMB CBT + WAEC Prep.
Can I use Skolra on my laptop?
Yes, on Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) or on a Mac with macOS 11 or later. Get it from the Windows download page or the Mac download page, and sign in with the same account as your phone.
Can I try it before I pay?
Yes. You can answer some questions free every day. The app shows how many you have left.
Someone gave me a referral code. Where does it go?
Add it when you sign up, or later in Profile before you activate.
Are these real past questions?
Yes. The questions come from past JAMB, WAEC and NECO papers. We use software to help write the answer options and explanations, and every answer is checked twice before it goes on the site. If one looks wrong, send us feedback from the app.
Activation
What does activation give me?
The whole app for one exam season (a year): all past questions, full mock exams, corrections with explanations, the AI tutor and unlimited game rounds.
How do I activate?
Pay in the app, or type a key you bought from a Skolra reseller.
My key was refused.
Check that you typed it exactly as given. If it still does not work, contact us. Nothing is lost.
Can one key cover two people?
No. One key is for one student.
Does my phone key work on my laptop?
No. One key works on one device. Your phone and your computer each need their own key.
Payments
How do I pay?
Inside the app, by bank transfer, or by card where the app offers it.
How much is it?
The price is shown in the app, where it is always up to date.
I paid and nothing happened.
Refresh the screen. If the app is still locked, contact us with the date, the amount and your bank's reference.
Can I pay into someone's personal account?
No. Pay only inside the app. Anyone who asks you to pay into a personal account is not Skolra.
Earnings
When do I earn on a referral?
When the person who used your code activates the app.
How much do I earn?
The amount is on that programme's page in the app.
Why do I have more than one balance?
Each programme keeps its own balance, and each one is withdrawn on its own.
How do I withdraw?
From that balance in the app, to a bank account in your own name.
Your account
How do I sign in?
The same way you signed up: Google, Apple or your email.
I forgot my password.
Tap "Forgot password" on the sign-in screen and we email you a reset link. If you signed up with Google or Apple, you do not need a password: tap Continue with Google or Continue with Apple.
I changed my phone and the app is locked again.
Sign in on the phone you activated on. If that phone is gone, write to us and we will look at your account.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, from your profile, or on the account deletion page. The privacy policy says what is kept.
Studying with the app
How should I use the mock exams?
Sit one a week: four subjects, without stopping. Then read every question you missed. More on JAMB CBT practice.
Can the AI tutor be wrong?
Yes, sometimes. Check what it says against the explanation on the question.
What is the Academy?
Short courses from tutors, inside the same app. Some are free.
A screen is stuck.
Close the app and open it again. If it keeps happening, tell us which screen and which phone.
