What the mock exam copies from the real JAMB CBT

Two ways to practise
Study mode
There is no timer. Pick an answer and you see at once if it is right, with the explanation. Use it when you are learning a topic.
Exam mode
The clock runs and you see no answers until you submit. Use it to test yourself the way the real exam will.

In the real exam you can answer with the keyboard alone. Practise with the same keys, so they are not new to you on the day.

How to practise JAMB CBT at home
Short practice every day helps more than one long night before the exam.
- Know your four subjectsUse of English and the three subjects your course asks for. Check the subjects for your course.
- Learn one topic at a timeUse study mode and read every explanation, even when you get the answer right.
- Practise with the keys and the calculatorAnswer with A to D, N, P and S, and work sums on the calculator on the screen, as you will on the day.
- Sit one full mock exam each weekUse exam mode: all four subjects in one sitting, without stopping. In the last month, sit more, at the time of day your exam will be.
- Go through every question you missedWrite down the topics you keep missing and go back to them before your next mock.

How do I use the keyboard in the JAMB CBT?
Press A, B, C or D to pick an answer, N for the next question, P for the previous one and S to submit. Our guide to how the JAMB CBT works lists every key.
How do I use the calculator in the JAMB CBT?
The calculator is on the exam screen, and you cannot bring your own. The Skolra mock has one on the screen too, so you can get used to it. More in how the JAMB CBT works.
Can I practise JAMB CBT online for free?
Each subject page on this site has ten past questions with answers, free: start with JAMB past questions. The timed mock is in the Skolra app, which is free to download, with some questions free every day.
Is this JAMB's own mock exam?
No. Skolra is not part of JAMB. JAMB's own mock is held at real CBT centres a few weeks before the UTME, for candidates who choose it when they register: see the JAMB mock exam.
Skolra is not part of JAMB. We do not sell exam questions or answers, and nobody can sell you the real JAMB questions before the exam. Practice is how you prepare.
