JAMB syllabus
The JAMB syllabus lists the topics you can be examined on in each UTME subject. Here are all 25 subjects. For Agricultural Science and Arabic, read the syllabus here, topic by topic, with a short note from us on each topic. For the other 23, the link opens JAMB's own syllabus on its IBASS site.

Questions students ask about the JAMB syllabus
Is the JAMB syllabus for 2027 out?
JAMB's IBASS site does not say which UTME year its syllabus is for. It is the syllabus JAMB has published, so prepare with it until JAMB says otherwise.
What is the difference between the syllabus and the brochure?
The syllabus lists the topics in each subject. The brochure lists the UTME subjects and O'level results each course needs. Both are on JAMB's IBASS site. See the JAMB subject combinations by course.
Is the JAMB novel part of the syllabus?
Yes. The Use of English syllabus includes the approved reading text, which is the JAMB novel. See the JAMB novel and how it is tested.
