What JAMB has said about 2027
- Arrival time. Candidates in the first session of the 2027 UTME should be at their CBT centre by 7:30 a.m. The paper runs from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. JAMB's spokesman gave these times in a statement carried in JAMB's bulletin of 21 September 2026.
- Registering from home. JAMB's bulletin of 28 September 2026 says it aims to let candidates do most of the 2027 registration from home, and visit a centre mainly for fingerprints and a photo. JAMB has not said when or how this will work.
- Life skills and critical thinking. On 16 September 2026 JAMB set up a committee to draft a framework for adding life skills and critical thinking to the UTME. JAMB has not said whether or how this changes the 2027 exam.
Reported, not confirmed by JAMB
A newspaper report of 5 October 2026 says JAMB plans a UTME centre in Ottawa, Canada, from 2027, for Nigerians living in North America. JAMB's own website does not say this yet (checked 23 October 2026).
