JAMB subject combinations for 2027

From JAMB's 2025 brochure, the one JAMB still serves: the four UTME subjects for 50 popular courses. Use of English is compulsory for every course. Open a course to see the O'level and Direct Entry rules and how big schools differ.

Checked on 9 October 2026 against JAMB's brochure (files dated 27 January 2025) and JAMB's live brochure data. Requirements differ between schools and can change each year, so always check your chosen school on ibass.jamb.gov.ng.

What is the JAMB brochure?

The JAMB brochure lists every course that universities, polytechnics and colleges offer through JAMB, with the UTME subjects and the O'level grades each course needs. JAMB publishes it on its brochure site, ibass.jamb.gov.ng.

Each school can add its own rules for a course, so read your school's entry too, not only the general rule. Choose your four UTME subjects from it before you register.

Practise your four subjects

When you know your subjects, practise them with past questions and full JAMB mock exams in the Skolra app.
