JAMB aggregate calculator
Work out your admission aggregate from your UTME score and, where your school uses them, your Post-UTME score and O'level grades.
Each school sets its own formula, and schools change them. Of the schools we checked, the University of Ilorin and Kwara State University have published a formula for 2026/2027. The others below are older official formulas, shown with their year. Always check the current notice on your school's own website.

The formulas
University of Ilorin, 2026/2027
Official, 2026/2027
Offer of Admission will be based on an aggregate of UTME/A'Level score (50%); Post-UTME screening score (30%); and Five (5) relevant O' Level grades (20%).
UTME counts for 50%, the Post-UTME screening score for 30%, and five relevant O'level grades for 20%. UNILORIN does not publish how O'level grades are turned into points, so this calculator works out the first 80% only.
Example: With 250 in the UTME and 60 in the Post-UTME. UTME: 250 ÷ 400 × 50 = 31.25. Post-UTME: 60 ÷ 100 × 30 = 18. That is 49.25 of the 80 this formula lets you work out; the school works out the O'level part (20) itself.

Kwara State University (KWASU), 2026/2027
Official, 2026/2027
UTME (or Direct Entry) score counts for 70% and five relevant O'level grades for 30%. There is no Post-UTME score in it. KWASU does not publish how O'level grades are turned into points, so this calculator works out the UTME 70% only.
Example: With 250 in the UTME. UTME: 250 ÷ 400 × 70 = 43.75. That is 43.75 of the 70 this formula lets you work out; the school works out the O'level part (30) itself.
From the school's notice of June 2026. Checked 23 October 2026. How we check these figures
LAUTECH, 2025/2026
Official, 2025/2026
Admission is based on 80% UTME score and 20% O'level grades.
UTME counts for 80% and O'level grades for 20%. LAUTECH does not publish how O'level grades are turned into points, so this calculator works out the UTME 80% only. We found no 2026/2027 notice.
Example: With 250 in the UTME. UTME: 250 ÷ 400 × 80 = 50. That is 50 of the 80 this formula lets you work out; the school works out the O'level part (20) itself.

FUNAAB (help-desk article, no session given)
Official, No session given (article first added 2017)
A 50:50 composite of UTME and O'level, with no Post-UTME score. UTME counts for 50% (UTME divided by 8). O'level counts for 50%: five core subjects, A1 = 6, B2 = 5, B3 = 4, C4 = 3, C5 = 2, C6 = 1, other grades 0, so 30 points make 50%. For two sittings, the better grade in each subject is used and 1 point is taken off. Agricultural Science taken in place of Biology earns no points.
Example: With 250 in the UTME and O'level grades A1, B3, C4, B2 and C6 at one sitting. UTME: 250 ÷ 400 × 50 = 31.25. O'level: 6 + 4 + 3 + 5 + 1 = 19 points of 30, so 19 ÷ 30 × 50 = 31.67. Total: 62.92 out of 100.

UNIZIK, 2021/2022
Official, 2021/2022 (the latest year UNIZIK published a formula)
Final score = [(JAMB SCORE × 0.7) + [(O'level score + Bonus) × 0.3]
UTME times 0.7, plus O'level score and bonus times 0.3. The O'level score is over your four UTME subjects: A1 = 90, B2 = 80, B3 = 70, C4 = 60, C5 = 55, C6 = 50, D7 = 25, E8 and F9 = 0. The bonus is 10 if all four credits are from one sitting. The notice does not give a maximum score. UNIZIK's 2025/2026 notice gives only pass marks, with no formula.
Example: With 250 in the UTME and O'level grades A1, B3, C4 and B2 at one sitting. UTME: 250 × 0.7 = 175. O'level: 90 + 70 + 60 + 80 + 10 for one sitting = 310 points, so 310 × 0.3 = 93. Total: 268. The notice does not say what the score is out of.

LASU, 2020/2021
Official, 2020/2021, Round 2 (the latest year LASU published a formula)
LASU's "Point Grading System": UTME divided by 8 (50%), plus O'level points (50%) over your five best relevant subjects: A1 = 10, B2 = 9, B3 = 8, C4 = 7, C5 = 6, C6 = 5. LASU's 2026/2027 screening page states only a minimum UTME score of 195, with no formula.
Example: With 250 in the UTME and O'level grades A1, B3, C4, B2 and C6 at one sitting. UTME: 250 ÷ 400 × 50 = 31.25. O'level: 10 + 8 + 7 + 9 + 5 = 39 points of 50, so 39 ÷ 50 × 50 = 39. Total: 70.25 out of 100.
From the school's notice of 24 December 2020. Checked 9 October 2026. How we check these figures
Common method: 50% UTME + 50% Post-UTME (not a school's formula)
Common method, not official
UTME divided by 8, plus the Post-UTME score (out of 100) divided by 2. Many guides use this, but we found no school that states it in an official 2025 to 2027 notice. Schools vary, so treat the result as a rough guide only.
Example: With 250 in the UTME and 60 in the Post-UTME. UTME: 250 ÷ 400 × 50 = 31.25. Post-UTME: 60 ÷ 100 × 50 = 30. Total: 61.25 out of 100.
Custom weights (enter your school's formula)
Your own weights
If your school publishes a formula, enter its weights. Give your UTME score, your Post-UTME score and its maximum, and your O'level part as a percentage if your school uses one. The weights should add up to 100.
Questions students ask about the aggregate
How do I work out my aggregate without a post-UTME?
Some schools use no post-UTME score at all. Their formulas use your UTME score and your O'level grades only:
- Kwara State University (KWASU), 2026/2027: UTME (or Direct Entry) score counts for 70% and five relevant O'level grades for 30%.
- LAUTECH, 2025/2026: UTME counts for 80% and O'level grades for 20%.
- FUNAAB (help-desk article, no session given): A 50:50 composite of UTME and O'level, with no Post-UTME score.
- UNIZIK, 2021/2022: UTME times 0.7, plus O'level score and bonus times 0.3.
- LASU, 2020/2021: LASU's "Point Grading System": UTME divided by 8 (50%), plus O'level points (50%) over your five best relevant subjects: A1 = 10, B2 = 9, B3 = 8, C4 = 7, C5 = 6, C6 = 5.
For these schools, your UTME score and your O'level grades are your whole aggregate.
Is UTME divided by 8 plus half the post-UTME score a school's formula?
No school we checked states it in an official 2025 to 2027 notice. Many guides use it, so we show it as a common method, not official. Use your own school's formula when it publishes one.
What aggregate do I need for my course?
Each school sets its own mark for each course, and some publish their lists after the screening. See cut-off marks by school and cut-off marks by course.
