What is the name of the surah that bears the name of Prophet Muhammad's family?
- ASuratul Aali-Imran
- BSuratul Ahzab
- CSuratul QurayshCorrect
- DSuratul Muhammad
Show answerHide answer
Answer: C
Suratul Quraysh (Chapter 106) is the surah that bears the name of Prophet Muhammad's own family/tribe. The Quraysh was the tribe into which the Prophet was born, specifically the clan of Banu Hashim, and this tribe controlled Makkah and the Ka'bah before Islam. The surah reminds the Quraysh of Allah's favour to them — protecting their trading caravans in winter and summer — and calls on them to worship the Lord of the Ka'bah who fed them and secured them from fear.

Who was the Prophet given the Gospel (Injil)?
- AProphet Musa (Moses)
- BProphet Muhammad
- CProphet Isa (Jesus)Correct
- DProphet Dawud (David)
Show answerHide answer
Answer: C
Prophet Isa (Jesus), peace be upon him, is the Prophet to whom Allah revealed the Injil (Gospel).
In Islamic Religious Knowledge, candidates are expected to know the four major books of revelation and the Prophet each was given to:
Taurat (Torah) — revealed to Prophet Musa (Moses), so this is a mismatch for the Injil.
Zabur (Psalms) — revealed to Prophet Dawud (David), another commonly confused pairing.
Qur'an — revealed to Prophet Muhammad (SAW), the final and complete revelation, not the Injil. - A

Suratul Baqarah is correct. The declaration "There is no compulsion in religion" (in Arabic, La ikraha fid-din) is found in verse 256 of Suratul Baqarah, the second and longest chapter of the Qur'an. This verse teaches that true faith must come from conviction, not force — a person cannot be compelled to accept Islam or any religion against their will.

What is the name of the Prophet who cured the blind and lepers by Allah's permission?
- AProphet Isa (AS)Correct
- BProphet Musa (AS)
- CProphet Ayyub (AS)
- DProphet Sulaiman (AS)
Show answerHide answer
Answer: A
The correct answer is Prophet Isa (AS). Allah tells us in the Qur'an, in Suratul Aal-Imran and repeated in Suratul Ma'idah, that Isa said to the Children of Israil: "...and I heal the blind and the leper, and I raise the dead, by Allah's permission..." This miracle of curing blindness and leprosy is uniquely attributed to Isa (AS) among the prophets named in the Qur'an.
So among the options, only curing the blind and the leper by Allah's permission is the sign given specifically to Isa (AS).

Which verse supports equality of all human beings?
- AQ49:13 – "O mankind, We created you from a male and a female and made you into nations and tribes that you may know one another; the most honourable of you with Allah is the most righteous."Correct
- BQ4:1 – "O mankind, fear your Lord Who created you from a single soul, and from it created its mate..."
- CQ30:21 – "And among His signs is that He created for you mates from among yourselves that you may find tranquillity in them..."
- DQ17:70 – "We have certainly honoured the children of Adam and carried them on land and sea..."
Show answerHide answer
Answer: A
Suratul Hujurat, Q49:13 is the verse that directly supports the equality of all human beings. It states that Allah created mankind from a male and a female and divided them into nations and tribes only so that they may know one another, not so that one group can look down on another. It then makes the point explicit: honour before Allah is earned by taqwa (righteousness), not by tribe, race, wealth or lineage. That is exactly the doctrine of human equality in Islam — everyone starts on the same footing, and only piety separates people.
So a candidate who picks any of those three has confused "honour of mankind" or "origin of spouses" with the specific teaching on equality among people, which is the point of Q49:13.
