Details on the Interest Free NELFUND Student Loan Scheme
Eligible tertiary institution students can choose whether to join the Nigerian Education Loan Fund student loan scheme. Students who are able to pay for their tertiary education on their own do not need to seek the scheme.
Loans given by the Nigerian Education Loan Fund do not attract any interest. However, anyone who receives the funding must pay it back. Applicants should study the terms and conditions inside the Student Loans Act prior to seeking the loan.
