JAMB warns students to verify admission offers on CAPS and e-Facility portal

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) warns prospective students that admission offers made outside its Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) may be treated as invalid. Before taking any offer, candidates have to log into CAPS to review and approve their status. JAMB rules for 2026 direct that the board handles every admission and posts it on its e-Facility website. Any tertiary institution admission offer without an official JAMB Admission Letter is illegal and unrecognised. Candidates who accept admissions outside CAPS do so entirely at their own risk.

Applicants need to review CAPS to confirm their status prior to taking an offer, agree only to offers on the JAMB e-Facility system, and get an official JAMB Admission Letter.
