Report: Proposed 2027 Timetable for UTME and Senior School Exams Revealed

According to reports, a unified draft schedule has been suggested by the Federal Government for national tests in 2027. The plan seeks to publish outcome details by August 2027 so applicants can begin university entrance activities by September. This unified draft includes the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) organised by JAMB, along with tests from WAEC, NECO, NABTEB and NBAIS.

The UTME test window is planned for March 15 until March 25, 2027, and candidate scores are anticipated within March 2027. NECO Senior School Certificate Examination dates are suggested for April 1 to May 14, 2027. WAEC West African Senior School Certificate Examination papers are set from May 11 to June 18, 2027. NABTEB tests are recommended for June 1 to July 5, 2027, while NBAIS papers are suggested for June 10 to July 9, 2027.

Organisers target August 2027 to publish the outcomes for NECO, WAEC, NABTEB and NBAIS. These suggested dates remain tentative planning windows that depend on final alignment among the testing organisations.
